TN is one of the devoloped states in India mainly due to various regional party Governments which ensured peace in the state. In North India, politics is based on religious devision and caste division. TN leads in many of the developmental indices like, Gross Enrollment Ratio, Urbanization of State, least poverty rate (TN 4%), (UP-25%, Bihar 40%, MP- 28 %, Gujarat- 16%)
TN's per capita is one of the highest in India. Density of doctors, ie number of doctors per 1000 is highest in TN, 4/ 1000, which is on par with western countries. TN produced 30 International Chess Grand Masters out of 84 in India (ie 35%), while highly populated states like UP,Bihar, MP produced none. TN has the highest number of Industries more than any state.
So, instead of appreciating and following the footsteps of Tamil Nadu to develop, media guys from these poorer states constantly spread bad and malicious news about Tamil Nadu, may be out of jealousy.
